7:19. യഹോവ ആകാശത്തിൽ കിളിവാതിലുകൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയാലും ഈ വാക്കുപോലെ സംഭവിക്കുമോ എന്നുത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു. അതിന്നു അവൻ; നിന്റെ കണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു നീ അതു കാണും; എങ്കിലും നീ അതിൽനിന്നു തിന്നുകയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.

7:19. But the officer replied to the prophet, "Look, even if the LORD made it rain by opening holes in the sky, could this happen so soon?" Elisha said, "Look, you will see it happen with your own eyes, but you will not eat any of the food!"

7:19. The king's officer had replied, "That couldn't happen even if the LORD opened the windows of heaven!" And the man of God had said, "You will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won't be able to eat any of it!"

7:19. and that captain answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if Jehovah should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? and he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof:

7:19. the captain had answered the man of God, "If the LORD himself should make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?" And he had said, "You shall see it with your own eyes, but you shall not eat of it."

7:19. And that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, [if] the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

7:19. the captain had answered the man of God, "If the LORD himself should make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?" And he had said, "You shall see it with your own eyes, but you shall not eat of it."

7:19. and that captain answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? and he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof:

7:19. and the captain answereth the man of God, and saith, `And lo, Jehovah is making windows in the heavens -- it is according to this word?` and he saith, `Lo, thou art seeing with thine eyes, and thereof thou dost not eat;`

7:19. But that officer had answered the man of God, "Even if the Lord made windows in heaven, this could not happen!" And Elisha had told the officer, "You will see it with your own eyes, but you will not eat any of that food."
